The Blacktown Youth College Lawson Campus has been in operation since 2010. BYC Lawson has a successful record of supporting students achieve their goals and in particular receive their RoSA for years 10, 11 and 12 and those students who aspire to achieve their HSC (non-ATAR).

 

The school operates Monday to Friday and provides specialised academic assistance and modified learning and engagement opportunities to all students. There is an equal focus on student well-being support at the school which incorporates individual learning and education plans for students and referral to additional support services where appropriate or requested. Support is provided by specialised teachers and Well Being Staff at the school or externally where required.

 

BYC Lawson relocated in July of 2023 to a refurbished and purpose-built site to accommodate up to 30 students in Stages 5 and 6. The school site is located on Gundugurra and Dharug Country (Lawson) and has strong connections to local community and stakeholders.
